Three women who live in the same compound in The Wildflower experience various types of assault from the men in their lives. Rolake, 24, starts a new job as Gowon Williams’ personal assistant, an architectural expert, but things take a surprising turn when she accompanies him on a work trip. Mama Olisa’s (40-year-old) husband occasionally beats her, and their older daughter Adaolisa (17) has recently become the target of Johntana, a pervert who also resides in the compound. When Rolake chooses to speak up and protest, these women’s events trigger a chain reaction in their lives and those of other women in similar situations.
